She learned that her mother and brother were missing from the internet
In the Bozkurt district of Kastamonu, there has been no news of 43-year-old Huriye Helvacı and her 5-year-old son Osman Helvacı, who left their home 7 days ago. AFAD, UMKE, gendarmerie, and police teams are continuing search efforts in the region.
The missing woman's 16-year-old daughter, Meryem Nur Helvacı, said she learned that her mother and brother had gone missing from news reports on the internet.
Stating that she stays in a dormitory, Meryem Nur said, "I spoke with my mother on the phone on Saturday. I learned that she went missing from the news on Sunday; I was very upset. If my mother can hear me, please reach out to us somehow. I want to know if she is okay or not. I want to be reunited as soon as possible."

Family elders also made an appeal to Huriye Helvacı.
Her mother, Ayşe Hıra, said, "Huriye, wherever you are, come out and come home; you left without saying anything to me," while her sister, Ayşe Çalık, stated, "Even if she left of her own volition, she shouldn't be afraid of us. Everyone is looking for her; we just want her to make a phone call so we can hear her voice."
