She shot the police officer she asked for help via KADES!

The incident occurred yesterday around 23:00 on the first floor of an apartment building on 6002 Street in the Uzundere neighborhood. According to the information obtained, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the area following a report to the 112 Emergency Call Center stating that 'many police officers were shot'.

During the investigation conducted by police teams in the area, it was determined that police officer S.A. (50), who serves at the Karabağlar District Police Department, was wounded in the waist by a gunshot. S.A., who received initial examination by medical teams, was then taken by ambulance to the Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. It was determined that the suspect who carried out the incident was B.K., a married mother of 4. B.K., who was taken into custody by police teams, was taken to the Public Security Branch Directorate.

SHE HAD ASKED FOR HELP VIA KADES

Within the scope of the extensive investigation launched into the incident, it was learned that B.K. has 4 children from her first marriage and had filed for divorce in her second marriage due to alleged severe incompatibility. It was also claimed that B.K., who has been using antidepressant medication for a while due to a health issue, had a divorce hearing this Friday and, fearing that her husband had come to the house before the hearing, requested help via the KADES application. Following her request for help from the application, the police went to B.K.'s address, took the woman, and brought her to the Karabağlar District Police Department Domestic Violence Bureau. It was learned that B.K., who gave her statement there, did not file a complaint against her husband.

Furthermore, it is alleged that after the procedures at the police station, B.K. asked the police for help to get home and was taken to her house in a police vehicle. As B.K. got out of the vehicle, she asked the police team that dropped her off to check the apartment, and police officer S.A. accompanied her, taking B.K., who lives on the 1st floor of the apartment, to her flat. At this moment, B.K. grabbed the police officer's service weapon and fired at S.A. The police officer, wounded by the bullet hitting his waist, tried to escape the scene in a state of panic, while B.K. entered her own apartment.

It was learned that the treatment of police officer S.A., who is married and a father of 2, continues at the Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine Hospital and that his life is not in danger. Within the scope of the investigation launched into the incident, it was learned that the statement of police officer S.A. will be taken after his treatment.
