Ship breakdown in the Bosphorus: Traffic suspended in both directions
Vessel traffic in the Bosphorus has been suspended in both directions after the Barbados-flagged ship "TRACKHOUND," which was transiting from north to south, experienced a mechanical failure off the coast of İstinye.
According to the information obtained, Bosphorus traffic was halted as of 19:50 following the breakdown of the Barbados-flagged ship "TRACKHOUND," which was performing a north-to-south transit in the Istanbul Strait.

The Kurtarma-5 and Nazım Tur tugboats, along with the KEGM-5 boat belonging to the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, were dispatched to the scene.
It was learned that the disabled ship is located off the Çubuklu Ferry Terminal, and the teams' intervention is ongoing.
