Shocking attack in Giresun: Individual who punched CHP provincial chair Şenyürek released
The individual who attacked CHP Provincial Chair Opr. Dr. Gökhan Şenyürek in Giresun was released under judicial control conditions by the duty magistrate. Şenyürek had reported the attack to the police and filed a complaint.
CHP Giresun Provincial Chair Opr. Dr. Gökhan Şenyürek, who works at a private hospital in Giresun, was subjected to a verbal and physical attack by a father after the child he had circumcised began to cry in the morning hours.

The child's father, who punched Şenyürek in the chest, was taken into custody after Şenyürek reported the incident to the police and filed a complaint.

Stating that the suspect was released by the court with judicial control measures, Şenyürek's lawyer Murat Bektaş said the following regarding the matter:
"Following his statement at the police station, the suspect was referred by the Giresun Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to the Giresun Duty Criminal Court of Peace in the evening, where he was released with judicial control measures including 'signing in at the police station on Fridays' and a 'travel ban'."
