Shocking claim regarding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs! 'There is a ByLock-like application...'
DEM Party Diyarbakır MP Cengiz Çandar, who claimed that there is a ByLock-like application within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated, "This application is known as Chat-In, named after the person who created it. According to this application, all correspondence and communication of all Ministry of Foreign Affairs personnel, except for the Minister and a few others, are under surveillance, including deleted messages; this also includes those working abroad."
Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Diyarbakır MP Cengiz Çandar stated at the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), where the Draft Law on the Strengthening of the Foreign Ministry Organization was being discussed, "We are aware of the schemes going on in the Foreign Ministry, who is who, and what kind of business they are conducting."
As reported by Namık Durukan from T24, Çandar, who used the expression "We are talking about a Foreign Ministry that has become an organization that treats its members like potential spies," brought the following allegations to the agenda:
"Despite the incredible control mechanisms established over Foreign Ministry personnel, all this information flows to us. What are those mechanisms? I am sure many of you do not know what I am about to say: Except for the Minister of Foreign Affairs and a few people, all Foreign Ministry personnel, general managers, department heads, ambassadors, consuls, and all staff are required to install a type of WhatsApp application. This application is known as Chat-In, named after the person who created it. Just like a religious community once used ByLock. According to this application, all correspondence and communication of all Foreign Ministry personnel, except for the Minister and a few others, are under surveillance, including deleted messages; this also includes those working abroad.
We are talking about a Foreign Ministry that has become an organization that treats its members like potential spies. You might say, 'It's a security application.' There is a massive, unprecedented security application based on distrust.
Except for the Minister and a few people, all Foreign Ministry personnel's entire correspondence and communication, including deleted messages, are under surveillance; this also includes those working abroad.
VISA ALLEGATION
In recent days, the number of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs has been increased to 5. Three of them are not career diplomats. One of these deputy foreign ministers, who is not a career diplomat, is known to have ties to visa companies. All Ministry of Foreign Affairs personnel know this. How do we know? We know because Foreign Ministry personnel report this to us."
