Shocking incident at famous artist's home! Tradesman who came to work killed

The incident occurred yesterday around 15:00 in front of a residence located on 19 Mayıs Street in the 19 Mayıs neighborhood of Şişli. According to the information obtained, Taşdan Karaca, who had gone to artist Züleyha Ortak's home to install a shower cabin, had gone down to his parked vehicle on the street to get materials. At that moment, Taşdan Karaca was critically wounded as a result of an armed attack by his nephew, Caner K. Karaca, who was rushed to the hospital by medical teams, lost his life despite all interventions.

Speaking about the incident, Züleyha Ortak stated, "We know that when Taşdan went outside to get materials, he was shot by his nephew in front of the door. In the footage, we see his nephew arriving in a very cold-blooded manner and firing 6 shots by our count. Actually, there was a renovation going on here. A toilet and a shower cabin were being installed. Later, he left his belongings as they were and went out the door. His nephew had said, 'Uncle, send me your location, let me come and see you.' At that moment, he went toward his car. As soon as he saw his uncle, he fired from a very close range and fled the scene. It was a situation that happened in 10-12 seconds anyway. Everyone is already in shock."

Saying, "The one who died is their own, and the one who did it is their own," Ortak continued, "He was a 50-year-old man who earned his living through hard work and also did delivery services. Actually, no one knows what he was a victim of. It is said that there was a property dispute. His relatives came and took his car keys, jacket, and materials from here. All that remains is the shower cabin and bathroom he left half-finished while working here. Taşdan was a relative of the man in security. They handle all our work. Although this place looks like a residence building, it is a building with 44 apartments where families live, where we all know each other and neighborly relations still continue. Since I hadn't been here for a while, I wanted to renovate and completely renew the house. Such an unfortunate incident happened while the man was doing this. May he rest in peace. I wish patience for his family. The one who died is their own, and the one who did it is their own. I hope he is caught as soon as possible and receives the punishment he deserves."
