Shocking sabotage in Esenyurt: Wastewater line blocked with paving stones

An incident in the Örnek Neighborhood of Istanbul's Esenyurt district has raised allegations of deliberate interference with public infrastructure.
Teams from the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI), who went to the area to intervene in a clogged wastewater channel, encountered a surprising sight at the manhole.
The inspection revealed that the manhole had been filled with paving stones.
Sharing the situation with the public, ISKI General Manager Şafak Başa stated that the intervention was carried out deliberately and said:
"Location: Our Esenyurt District, Örnek Neighborhood. The scene encountered by our team intervening in a clogged wastewater channel... our manhole has been filled with paving stones... The goal is clear; to put ISKI in a difficult position... Protecting our infrastructure is everyone's duty..."
