Sibergöz operation in 21 provinces: 75 people detained

The “SİBERGÖZ-26” operations were carried out simultaneously by the Gendarmerie in 21 provinces, targeting crimes of Qualified Theft using Information Systems, Qualified Fraud, and Online Child Exploitation.

75 people were apprehended in operations conducted in Istanbul, Kayseri, Tekirdağ, Giresun, Bursa, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Samsun, Muğla, Ankara, Mersin, Diyarbakır, Malatya, Şanlıurfa, İzmir, Hatay, Denizli, Antalya, Bolu, Kahramanmaraş, and Batman.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated in a post on his X (Twitter) account that a large number of unlicensed pistols and shotguns, 41 phones, 6 computers, SIM cards, portable memory devices, and bank/credit cards were seized during the operation.
