Significant development in the case of baby Sıla
The trial of baby Sıla Yeniçeri, who was subjected to sexual abuse and violence in the Malkara district of Tekirdağ, will be held on December 26, 2024.
Tekirdağ Bar Association President Egemen Gürcün made a statement regarding the case of the baby named Sıla Yeniçeri, who was subjected to sexual abuse and violence in the Malkara district.
In his statement, Gürcün noted the following:
“The hearing date for our baby Sıla's case at the Tekirdağ 2nd High Criminal Court has been set for December 26, 2024, at 9:30 AM. As the Tekirdağ Bar Association, we will follow the case meticulously during the trial phase, just as we did during the investigation process. And on the same day, we will seek justice as bar associations at both ends of the country. We will be in the courts for Narin Güran in Diyarbakır and for our baby Sıla in Tekirdağ. We will continue our struggle for justice with determination to defend the rights of our children and ensure that the material truth is revealed.”
