Sıla Baby case adjourned to February 7
The second hearing was held in the case regarding the death of Sıla Yeniçeri, known to the public as Baby Sıla, who lost her life at the age of 2 after being subjected to sexual abuse and violence in Tekirdağ. The court adjourned the case and set the next hearing date for February 7.
In the second hearing of the case regarding the death of 2-year-old Sıla Yeniçeri, who was beaten and revealed to have been sexually abused in Tekirdağ, her mother, Behiye Yeniçeri (30), presented her defense.
"I know she fell at the park. I absolutely did not neglect my duty of care," said Yeniçeri, and a report stating that she is of sound mind was also read during the hearing. Following the defense statements, the hearing was adjourned to February 7.
