Sinan Ateş's friend Ömer Zengin attacked
Ömer Zengin, who testified in the trial of the murdered former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş, was attacked by 4 people in Germany.
Sinan Ateş's friend Ömer Zengin announced on his social media account that he was attacked by 4 people. Announcing that he would appear on Halk TV this evening, Zengin stated that he had a swelling on his head and would join the broadcast on another day.
Following the murder of Ateş, with whom he previously served in the MHP, Zengin had traveled from Berlin to Ankara to give his testimony and shared it on social media, stating, "The justice(!) that brought us from Berlin to Ankara cannot bring the nationalist-killing FETÖ members in Ankara to justice!"
In a statement he made today on the social media platform X, Zengin wrote, "I was attacked by 4 people, I have a bit of a swelling on my head. I will join the broadcast another day."
