Sinan Ateş's wife Ayşe Ateş rebels against those targeting Saniye Ateş: 'You scoundrels!'

Following the murder of former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş in the middle of the street in Ankara, 10 of the 22 detained suspects were released in the ongoing trial, and the hearing was adjourned to July 19.

Following the decision, Sinan Ateş's mother Saniye Ateş, his sister Selma Ateş, and his wife Ayşe Ateş met with CHP Chairman Özgür Özel at the CHP Headquarters yesterday.

After the meeting, the family was targeted by certain accounts on social media.

'YOU HAVE NEITHER FAMILY UPBRINGING NOR A SHRED OF HUMANITY'

Ayşe Ateş used the following expressions:

"You lowlifes! You scoundrels! You puppets! You left me alone, and now you have started cursing at my mother-in-law Saniye? Have you declared Sinan's mother and siblings to be FETÖ members?

This grieving woman, who rises like a mountain with her wisdom and courage in the face of cowards and villains like you; in one year, she buried her child first, then her life partner. Bullets took one from her bosom, and the pain of losing a child and misery took the other. Yet, she did not bend or break. She did not get scared and hide in a corner. At her age, she came and faced her son's killers. She looked all of you in the face and spat at you, and you didn't even flinch.

You possess neither a stomach that can be turned nor any principles in the name of character!

You have neither family upbringing nor a shred of humanity!

You turn bright red with anger while accusing and targeting these defenseless women, who have buried their husbands, children, and siblings, of attacking the Ülkü Ocakları and the MHP."

Yesterday, you join hands with Zihni Çakır and Fuat Uğur, who cursed all your sacred values, and today you show not the slightest sign of blushing while trying to suppress those who speak out about this political murder—in which a few cowards and villains are neck-deep—with insults, curses, threats, accusations of being an organization, and sexist rhetoric.
