Sinem Ünsal breaks silence after detention order
Actress Sinem Ünsal, whose name was mentioned in a drug operation, expressed her sadness in her first statement following the detention order issued against her and broke her silence regarding the developments.
In a drug investigation conducted in Istanbul that has been closely followed by the public, detention orders were issued for 14 people, including well-known names. Famous actress Sinem Ünsal, one of those named on the list, spoke about the matter for the first time via social media.
Ünsal, who is currently in Mardin for the filming of the series Uzak Şehir in which she plays the lead role, stated that she had just become aware of the news and expressed her sadness with the following words:
"I am in Mardin due to my filming schedule and I have just learned about the news. I am extremely saddened that my name is being mentioned alongside such a topic, but I know that the truth is singular and I respect the process that the competent authorities will carry out. I will be in Istanbul as soon as possible to do whatever is required of me."
