Siren sounds were heard at the Incirlik Air Base, which hosts the 10th Tanker Base Command of the Turkish Air Force and the 39th Air Base Wing of the United States Air Force, located in the central Sarıçam district.
Local residents were alarmed.

While the siren sounds continued in the area for a while, authorities announced that the sound was caused by a drill.
