Saniye Yüksekdağ, the sister of former Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ, has passed away in her home due to a gastric hemorrhage.

After her relatives were unable to reach Saniye Yüksekdağ for 3 days, they notified the police.

Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. In the initial examination conducted by the health teams, it was determined that Saniye Yüksekdağ had lost her life 3 days ago. Saniye Yüksekdağ's body was taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.

It was learned that Saniye Yüksekdağ will be laid to rest tomorrow in Ceyhan.
