Six famous names arrested as part of drug investigation

Simge Barankoğlu, Heves Güzel, Ebru Arman, Eda Alboya, Arif İskilip, and Taha Özer, who were taken into custody the day before yesterday as part of the "drug" and "prostitution" investigation conducted in Istanbul, were referred to the courthouse today.

In the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was alleged that the suspects committed the crimes of "purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use," "using drugs or stimulants," "providing a place and facilities for prostitution," and "encouraging or facilitating the use of drugs."

It was reported that after the police procedures for the detained suspects were completed, they were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse to have their statements taken by the prosecutor's office.
