Smoke alarm on THY plane: Emergency evacuation procedure implemented
A Turkish Airlines (THY) Boeing 777 aircraft operating the Istanbul–Antalya flight implemented emergency evacuation procedures after smoke was observed in the landing gear while on the taxiway following landing.

THY Senior Vice President of Media Relations Yahya Üstün stated that ARFF teams intervened after smoke was observed following the passenger plane's normal landing on the runway in Antalya, noting, "The evacuation of our passengers was carried out in a timely manner, and there were no injuries.
An additional flight has been planned for the return of the relevant service, and technical inspections of the aircraft have been initiated by our authorized teams," he said.
THY Senior Vice President of Media Relations Yahya Üstün noted in a statement on his social media account that ARFF teams intervened after smoke was observed in the landing gear of the Boeing 777 aircraft with registration TC-LKF while on the taxiway following its normal landing on the runway in Antalya.
Üstün stated, "The evacuation of our passengers was carried out in a timely manner, and there were no injuries.
An additional flight has been planned for the return of the relevant service, and technical inspections of the aircraft have been initiated by our authorized teams.
Initial inspections indicate that the smoke was caused by a technical malfunction in a hydraulic pipe," he added.
