Snow surprise in the high areas of Istanbul!
Following a sudden drop in temperatures in Istanbul, snowfall has been effective in some districts.
Following the warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology, air temperatures in Istanbul dropped by approximately 10 degrees today.
While heavy rain was observed across the city, snowfall was recorded particularly in the higher parts of Silivri, Çatalca, and Başakşehir. It is estimated that the snowfall will increase in intensity during the night hours.
