Social media is talking about the words of Özalan's former advisor: 'He cannot put two words together'

While Alpay Özalan continues to face backlash for his physical attack on TİP MP Ahmet Şık, the words of his former advisor have resurfaced on social media.

Social media is talking about the words of Özalan's former advisor: 'He cannot put two words together'

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) convened in an extraordinary session on Friday, August 16, at the call of the opposition to discuss the Constitutional Court's ruling regarding Can Atalay.

Following TİP MP Ahmet Şık's remarks pointing to the AKP benches and stating, "The biggest terrorist organization in this country is the one sitting in these seats," AKP's Alpay Özalan approached the podium and launched an attack.

During the session, which was adjourned six times, DEM Party's Gülistan Koçyiğit suffered a cut to her eyebrow, and CHP's Okan Konuralp was also injured in Alpay Özalan's attack.

“EVERY WORD IN HIS POSTS BELONGS TO ME”

Murat Sarıca, the former advisor to the former footballer Özalan, who resigned a year ago and has previously made headlines for his altercations in Parliament, had stated the following:

"I have never seen a person as ungrateful, disloyal, and disrespectful as Alpay Özalan in my life. I have been his social media advisor and copywriter for exactly 4 years. I increased his follower count on Twitter alone from 28,000 to around 500,000. While he cannot put two words together, he became a trending topic. Every word in his social media posts belongs to me, and every word in the videos he shot belongs to me."

Although I had been thinking about stopping work for the last 2 years, I endured it for the sake of the Presidential election. Because I was an earthquake survivor, all my other work was disrupted, and despite knowing this, he treated me unfairly. After the election, he distanced himself with the comfort of having crossed the bridge.

Last week, I called him and told him I would no longer work with him. He neither thanked me for my efforts nor asked for my blessing. Finally, he shamelessly did not answer my phone as if I were the one who had treated him unfairly. While he used to call me 40 times a day before the election, he did not even bother to call during the earthquake that happened yesterday.

Alpay Özalan, who has zero knowledge of politics, marketed everything I prepared to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and all other politicians as if 'I prepared them myself.' It is useless to say anything to a man like this who thinks of nothing but himself and his own interests.

Do I regret not leaving at the time? Absolutely not. Because this choice was 1,000 times more important to me than my personal interests. I would sacrifice not just 4 years, but 40 years for Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. However, if I have any rights over Alpay Özalan, I do not forgive them."
