Some ferry services in the Marmara Sea have been cancelled
Bursa Sea Buses (BUDO) has announced that a total of 10 ferry services scheduled over two days have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions in the Marmara Sea. The cancellation decision was made to ensure the safety of passengers and vessels.
Due to adverse weather conditions, Bursa Sea Buses (BUDO) has cancelled 8 services on December 30and 2 services on January 1. The cancelled services cover the Bursa, Istanbul, and Armutlu routes.
DECEMBER 30 SERVICES CANCELLED
According to the statement made on BUDO's website,itwas announced thaton December 30Eight services planned for Tuesdayhave been cancelled. The cancelled services are as follows: The 07:00 and 09:30 services from Bursa (Mudanya) to Istanbul (Eminönü/Sirkeci), and the 08:00 and 11:30 round-trip services from Istanbul to Bursa. Additionally, the 09:30 Bursa-Armutlu (Ihlas), 10:00 Armutlu-Istanbul, 11:30 Istanbul-Armutlu, and 12:55 Armutlu-Bursa services will also not be able to operate.
JANUARY 1 SERVICES ALSO CANCELLED
For the first day of the new year, January 1, WednesWednesday'stwo scheduled services were also cancelled for the samereason. The 07:00 Bursa (Mudanya) - Istanbul (Kabataş) and the 08:00 Istanbul (Kabataş) - Bursa (Mudanya) services will not becarriedout. BUDO has urged passengers to be mindful of changes to the service schedule and to followupdates.
