Some scheduled ferry services to the districts of Bozcaada and Gökçeada in Çanakkale's North Aegean Sea, planned for tomorrow, have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
Çanakkale's districts of Bozcaada and Gökçeada, located in the North Aegean Sea, have had some of their scheduled ferry services planned for tomorrow cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
Gestaş Deniz Ulaşım A.Ş., the company providing passenger and vehicle transport between the Dardanelles and the islands, announced that services on the Gökçeada and Bozcaada lines have been cancelled due to poor weather conditions in the North Aegean Sea.
In a statement, Gestaş said, "On Thursday, 18.01.2024 (tomorrow), on the Kabatepe-Gökçeada line, only the 06.00 service from Gökçeada and the 08.00 service from Kabatepe will be operated during the day, and all other scheduled services have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. On Thursday, 18.01.2024 (tomorrow), on the Geyikli-Bozcaada line, only the 07.00 and 10.00 services from Bozcaada and the 08.00 and 11.00 services from Geyikli will be operated during the day, and all other scheduled services have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions."
