Some metro lines will be closed due to the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe match
Metro İstanbul has announced that the M9 Ataköy-Olimpiyat Metro Line will be closed between 15:00 and 00:00 due to the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe match to be played tomorrow.
In a statement made on the social media account of Metro İstanbul on the US-based company X,itwas announced that "on Saturday, January 10,at 18:45, at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, for the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe 2025 Turkish Super Cup Final match, in accordance with the decision taken by the Istanbul Governorship, the M9 Ataköy-Olimpiyat Metro Linwill be closed between 15:00 and 00:00," the statement said.
The M9 Metro Line routebetween Ataköy and Ziya Gökalp stationswill be served by IETT bus services, the statement noted the following:
For Galatasaray fans,the M3 Bakırköy-KayaşehirMetro Line'sİkitelli Sanayi Station will be the meeting point. After ticket checks at the M3 Line's İkitelli Sanayi Station, fanswill transferto the M9 İkitelli Sanayi Station and be transported to the Olympic Stadium via express services. Fenerbahçe fansFor theM9 Ataköy-Olimpiyat Metro Line,the Ataköyand Yenibosna stationswill be meeting points. Fans will be able to access the stadium afterticket checks at the Ataköyand Yenibosna stationson the M9 line.will be transported to the Olympic Stadium via express services."
On the other hand, IETTannounced that it has planned 250 additional trips in addition to the 304 existing trips serving the region,and thaton the Metrobusline, 200 additional trips will also be put into service.
