Some metro stations in Ankara remain out of service due to yesterday's downpour
Due to the heavy downpour that began in the capital yesterday evening, train operations between the OSB Törekent and Atatürk Kültür Merkezi stations have been suspended.
Ankara was affected by heavy rain yesterday evening, which also disrupted transportation. After the downpour, which caused damage to some metro stations, citizens who went to the stations this morning to use the metro were met with warning notices.
In this context, the information notices posted at metro entrances stated: "Due to the disruptions in certain sections of our line caused by the heavy rainfall that affected our city on April 30, which prevent operational service, train operations will not be conducted between the OSB Törekent and Atatürk Kültür Merkezi stations. Service will be provided between these stations via bus."
Due to the OSB Törekent-Atatürk Kültür Merkezi metro stations being out of service, passengers are being transported between these lines by bus.
