Some roads in Istanbul will be closed to traffic today

The Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch has announced the roads that will be closed to traffic and the alternative routes from 09:00 until the end of the Mawlid an-Nabi program, which is being organized today by the Peygamber Sevdalıları Platformu at the Yenikapı rally area.

Accordingly, the roads to be closed are as follows:

"Namık Kemal Street and all streets and avenues leading to this street, Namık Kemal Viaduct, Şehit Vefa Kara Kurdu Overpass, the side road between Yenikapı IDO Pier and the Yenikapı rally area (Yenikapı Event Area inner road), Mahramacı Street, İnkılap Street, Küçük Langa Street, Küçük Langa Aralığı Street, Langa Bostanları Street, and all streets and avenues leading to the Yenikapı Marmaray station."

The alternative routes have been announced as Vatan Street, Millet Street, Balat Coast, Atatürk Boulevard, and Kennedy Street.
