66 people lost their lives in a fire that broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya Ski Center in Bolu. It has been learned that Sözcü columnist Nedim Türkmen and his family, from whom no news had been received all day, were among those who died.
The fire, which broke out around 03.00 at night, turned the Grand Kartal Hotel at the Kartalkaya Ski Center in Bolu into a grave for 66 people.
The fire was extinguished with difficulty, and the chain of negligence continues to be debated.
One of the names known to be on vacation at the hotel with his family was Sözcü columnist Nedim Türkmen. It was stated that Türkmen, along with his wife, son, and daughter, lost their lives in the fire.
