Special open visitation for women in prisons for International Women's Day
The Ministry of Justice has announced that, in honor of March 8 International Women's Day, female convicts and detainees in prisons will be granted open visitation rights between March 10 and 14.
The Ministry of Justice will provide open visitation opportunities for female convicts and detainees in prisons between March 10 and 14 as part of the March 8 International Women's Day.
Under the Regulation on the Visitation of Convicts and Detainees and upon the instruction of Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, female detainees and convicts will be able to have open visits with their first-degree relatives.
