SSI updates list of drugs sourced from abroad
The Social Security Institution (SSI) Health Services Pricing Commission has updated the list of drugs sourced from abroad. With the communiqué published in the Official Gazette, the Euro-based prices for certain drugs commonly used by citizens have been redetermined, and new drugs have been added to the list.
The updated list highlights drugs used particularly for heart rhythm disorders,respiratory diseases, rheumatic and immune system disorders, and chronic conditions.Accordingly, the price of Flecainide acetate 100 mg, used for heart rhythm disorders,has been set at approximately 11.30 Euros, while the price of Glycopyrrolate 1 mg, used for respiratory conditions, has been set at 59 Euros.
The price of Hydroxychloroquine sulfate 200 mg, which is commonly prescribedfor rheumatic diseases and immune system issues,has been set at 17.55 Euros, while the price of Jamp Tretinoin 10 mg capsules,used for chronic skin diseases, isupdated to 185 Euros.Additionally,
a price of 1,715 Euros was set for Sucraid oral solution,used for stomach and digestive system diseases,and 838 Euros for Immukin solution for injection,used in immune system treatments. Muscle and nervous system disease
treatments were also included in the scope of the update.Melp Spal-P 50 mg powder forinfusion, used in certain conditions, is priced at 29.50 Euros, whiledrugs containing the active ingredient Rufinamide,used for epilepsy andneurological diseases,have beenpriced between 52 Euros and 88 Euros.
The SGK'sWith this regulation, these drugs, which cannot be procured domestically or are difficult toobtain,willcontinue to have their costs covered under healthinsurancebased on thedetermined prices.
The updated prices came into effect as of January 17, 2026.
