Stabbed his brother after an argument, then committed hara-kiri at home
In an incident that took place in the Gemlik district of Bursa, a man first stabbed his brother and then locked himself in the house, where he committed hara-kiri on the balcony.
On Orhangazi Street in the Gemlik district of Bursa, a young man identified as T.P. first stabbed his brother in the back following an argument at home. He then locked himself inside the house and committed hara-kiri on the balcony, sustaining serious injuries.
Upon reports from bystanders, numerous police, medical, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.
Police teams, with the support of the fire department, entered the house, secured the injured young man, and handed him over to medical personnel. The injured man was taken to Gemlik State Hospital after receiving initial treatment from medical teams at the scene.
Meanwhile, it was learned that both the brother, who was stabbed in the back, and the young man are in good condition.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
