AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the State Medal Presentation Ceremony for Kazakhstan President Tokayev.
Highlights from Erdoğan's remarks are as follows:

Mr. President, you have supported the strengthening of Turkey-Kazakhstan relations. I also appreciate Kazakhstan's efforts toward the institutionalization of the Organization of Turkic States.
Turkey was the first country to recognize Kazakhstan. This year, we are marking the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan. You have once again demonstrated that you stand by Turkey during difficult times, especially following the February 6 earthquakes.
I am very pleased to present our State Medal to you.
