Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) has issued a statement regarding allegations that the Ebru Gündeş concert, organized for the October 29 Republic Day, cost 69 million TL and that no invoice was issued.
The statement indicated that an investigation into the concert has been launched under the instruction of Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, stating: “An inspection has been initiated regarding the Ebru Gündeş concert under the instruction of our Mayor, Mr. Mansur Yavaş.
It has been understood that, as of now, the organization firm has not issued an invoice and no payment has been made to them.
The results of the inspection will be shared with the public in detail.”
