In a statement issued by AFAD, it was noted that search and rescue operations for the 9 citizens missing following the landslide that occurred at a mine in İliç on February 13 are continuing uninterrupted by professional teams.

The statement shared the following information regarding the search and rescue efforts:

"The 210 thousand square meter area has been divided into 8 sectors, and all areas are being continuously scanned from the air and ground using thermal and magnetic drones, underground imaging devices, georadars, drones, and physical searches.

In the operations, which continue around the clock, 2 thousand 663 personnel, 802 vehicles and heavy machinery, 99 lighting towers, 52 generators, 7 drones, as well as georadars and ground-penetrating radars are in use. We are monitoring the developments."
