Statement from the Communications Directorate regarding the Turkey-Azerbaijan-Pakistan trilateral meeting
During the trilateral meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, regional and global issues as well as areas of cooperation between the countries were discussed.
The Presidential Communications Directorate issued a statement regarding the trilateral meeting between President Erdoğan, Azerbaijani President Aliyev, and Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif, held as part of his contacts in Astana, where he arrived for the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The statement noted the following:
"During the trilateral meeting, regional and global issues and areas of cooperation between the countries were discussed.
President Erdoğan stated during the meeting that there are joint steps that Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan can take in many areas, and that these would be beneficial for all three countries.
President Erdoğan noted that the cooperation to be demonstrated in a geography where wars, conflicts, and tensions are emerging will also serve regional and global peace."
