Statement from DMM on the claim that 'ByLock users in the AKP have been exposed'!

Following the claim circulated on social media that "ByLock users in the AKP have been exposed," a statement has been issued by the Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM).

The statement from the DMM said, "The claim that 'ByLock users in the AK Party have been exposed,' regarding certain images shared by propaganda accounts of the terrorist organization FETÖ, is not true. The file, which is alleged to have been prepared by our country's security and intelligence units and presented to our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is entirely fabricated. It is out of the question for such a file to have been prepared by the relevant institutions of our state."

The statement further noted that it has been determined that the "fake" images in the posts in question were also shared on social media platforms in 2017, adding, "It has been determined that these images, which are not based on any documentation, were circulated with the aim of manipulating public opinion regarding the fight against FETÖ."
