Statement from Ercan Saatçi's wife: 'We have no information, our lawyer is waiting'
Eda Tokcan, the wife of artist Ercan Saatçi, who was taken into custody as part of an investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, said, "We have no information regarding the detention process."
As part of an investigation launched centered on the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), numerous individuals, including İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, were taken into custody.
One of those names was artist Ercan Saatçi.
Despite hours passing since the detention procedure, no clear information has been obtained regarding the reason for Saatçi's detention.
'OUR LAWYER IS ALSO WAITING'
Saatçi's wife, Eda Tokcan, whom 12punto reached, said, "We have no information regarding the detention process."
Tokcan stated, "Since we have no information in hand, we cannot share it with you either. Our lawyer is also waiting."
WHO IS ERCAN SAATÇİ?
Born in Istanbul in 1968, Saatçi began his music career at a young age and became known for his contributions to pop and rock music.
