Statement from Hüseyin Baş that will anger AKP members: We will see Jerusalem become the capital of Israel. Let's see if they will celebrate that too?

Independent Turkey Party (BTP) Chairman Hüseyin Baş made notable statements regarding developments in the Middle East and Turkish politics.

In his assessments, Baş emphasized the fall of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the potential developments that will occur within the scope of the Greater Middle East Project (GMEP).

Baş stated, "Assad has fallen. From now on, when Trump takes office, we will see Jerusalem become the capital of Israel. Let's see if they will celebrate that with drums and pipes too? As long as the AKP is in power, this process cannot be stopped."

In another speech on December 6, Baş continued his criticisms by saying, "Assad will fall, Jerusalem will fall, the GMEP will be implemented, maps will change, and these will happen not because Esenyurt fell, but because the AKP is in power."

The BTP leader targeted the AKP government, drawing attention to Turkey's ineffectiveness regarding regional developments and the events taking place in the Middle East.
