The debate over Atatürk, which began with the 'lieutenants' oath', continues.

Presidential Advisor Mehmet Uçum has made a notable statement on social media regarding the debate, which has also caused different voices to emerge within the AKP.

Uçum, who frequently makes headlines with his statements, used the following expressions on his official X account:

"FROM ATATÜRK TO ERDOĞAN..."

"The Republic of Turkey is a hope for the Turkish Nation and for humanity.

Because the Republic of Turkey is both the embodiment of the anti-imperialist struggle and the goal of a fully independent Turkey of its founding leader Atatürk, and it is the real power behind the 'The world is bigger than five' ideal of the country's leader, President Erdoğan, who upholds Atatürk's perspective.

From Atatürk to Erdoğan, the Republic of Turkey is the light of our Nation and of humanity. To understand this line and this hope is to understand Turkey."
