While the investigation into the poisoning tragedy in which the Böcek family lost their lives continues, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu made a statement.

While the question of whether there was any medical negligence in the initial intervention provided to the family created uncertainty, Minister Memişoğlu announced that no issues were identified in the treatment administered.

Memişoğlu stated, "Both hospitals are adequate hospitals. They performed the necessary interventions. We are conducting an investigation just in case. We do not think there was any deficiency, but we are still conducting an investigation. The investigation is ongoing."
