Statement from Minister Tunç regarding disabled convicts and detainees
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that, in observance of the December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities, disabled convicts and detainees will be permitted to hold open visits with their relatives who have visitation rights between December 3 and 7.
Minister Tunç, in a post regarding the International Day of Persons with Disabilities for disabled convicts and detainees, statedthat, "As the Ministry of Justice, we will allow disabled convicts and detaineesto hold their meetings with relatives who have visitation rights between December 3 and 7 asopenvisits, in honor of the 'December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities' due to the opwe will provide the opportunityfor them to conduct theseas open visits," he stated.
