Statement from Minister Yerlikaya regarding Ayhan Bora Kaplan
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, who attended the meeting between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, answered questions from members of the press.
In his statement to journalists regarding the Ayhan Bora Kaplan case, Minister Yerlikaya said that the inspector's report prepared by the Ministry of Interior concerning high-ranking police officers was completed on Saturday and submitted to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on Sunday.
Yerlikaya stated that the report was prepared in collaboration with the criminal department and the gendarmerie.
Expressing that they completed a process that would normally take a long time in a short period with dedication, Yerlikaya said, "From here on, it is in the hands of the judiciary."
