The General Directorate of Forestry (OGM) announced through a statement on its social media account that the forest fire in the Menderes district of İzmir has been brought under control.
The statement made on OGM's social media account included the following:
"The forest fire that occurred in Menderes, İzmir, has been brought under control. We would like to thank our heroes who fight for our green homeland, as well as all the institutions, NGOs, volunteers, and citizens who supported us."
