Statement from PJAK, the Iranian branch of the terrorist organization PKK: 'Call to lay down arms is unacceptable'
Peyman Viyan, a leader of PJAK, the Iranian branch of the terrorist organization PKK, stated, "Turkey's call for PJAK to lay down its arms and this imposition is unacceptable."
As Israel's attacks on Iran and Iran's retaliatory strikes continue, tensions in the region are rising day by day.
PJAK, the Iranian branch of the terrorist organization PKK, has also joined the discussions on regime change that have come to the fore following the mutual attacks.
According to a report by Özgür Cebe from Sözcü, speaking about the PKK's decision regarding laying down arms and dissolution, the terrorist codenamed Peyman Viyan, one of the leaders of PJAK, said, "The Turkish state's call to lay down arms is unacceptable. We will continue the struggle," and called on the Kurdish population in Iran to develop their own self-defense.

Calling on Kurds in Iran to organize, Viyan stated the following:
"If the regime resists further, the attacks will intensify. Iran's external arms have been severed, and at this stage, its internal arms are being struck one by one. Many of its commanders and officials have been killed. The paradigm of the Islamic Republic is already contradictory. The economic crisis is putting significant pressure on both the people and the state. The Kurdish people are the most organized and cautious segment in Iran. Kurds are demanding their fundamental rights in Iran. They are not 'separatists' as the regime claims. Currently, the most organized and cautious people in Iran are the Kurds."
Stating, "Turkey's call for PJAK to lay down its arms and this imposition is unacceptable. The Turkish state should recognize the value of Apo's call. The Turkish state is acting according to its old mentality. It must recognize the will and power of the Kurds," the terrorist Viyan continued:
"PJAK is a party that struggles for the rights of Kurds in Iran. As PJAK, we are struggling according to Apo's philosophy and paradigm. We have said it clearly, and we say it once again: We will continue our struggle and do everything in our power. The Turkish state should solve its own problems first."
