A written statement has been issued by the Ankara Governor's Office regarding the smell of smoke felt across Ankara.
In the statement made by the Ankara Governor's Office, it was stated: "According to information received from the Regional Directorate of Forestry and the Fire Department, it has been understood that the intense smoke and smell of soot felt in our province in recent hours were caused by the soot and smoke from the ongoing fires in Kastamonu/Araç being carried to our province by the effect of northern winds. There is no fire incident within the borders of our province."
