Statement from the EGM regarding bank promotions for salary and wage payments

In a statement made by the General Directorate of Security, it was stated: "The bank promotion tender regarding the three-year salary and wage payments for personnel serving in the central and provincial organizations of our General Directorate of Security, covering the years 2025-2028, was held on October 21, 2025.

The Tender Commission requested that the two banks that submitted the highest bids, Türkiye Vakıflar Bankası T.A.O. (90 thousand TL) and Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. (88 thousand 500 TL), update their offers.

During the meeting of our Minister of Interior, Mr. Ali Yerlikaya, with our Director General of Security and the members of the Tender Commission, the two banks that submitted the highest bids were called and asked to re-evaluate their offers. Türkiye Vakıflar Bankası T.A.O. did not change its offer of 90 thousand TL, while Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. increased its offer to 100 thousand TL.

As a result of the final evaluation, the offer from Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. was found to be the highest by the Tender Commission, and it was deemed appropriate to make a promotion payment of 100 thousand TL per person. We thank all the banks that participated in the tender and wish the result of the tender to be beneficial to the members of our Security Organization."
