Statement from the Lawyers' Union for March 8
The Lawyers' Union issued a statement regarding March 8, International Working Women's Day.
The union's statement included the following expressions:
"Today is the day of working women, who are among the strongest voices in the struggle for equality and justice. Throughout history, women have resisted for their rights and transformed society with their labor and struggle.
However, women's labor is still being rendered invisible, discrimination persists, and it is necessary to fight even for the most fundamental rights.
As the Lawyers' Union, we emphasize once again that we will continue our struggle to ensure that women have equal rights in working life and lead a life free from violence and oppression.
March 8 is not just a day of commemoration, but also a day of struggle. We stand with women for a future where law and justice are shaped on the basis of gender equality.
Long live March 8!"
