Statement from the Mayor of Silivri regarding the 6.2 magnitude earthquake
Following the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Silivri, Mayor Bora Balcıoğlu made statements to inform the public.
Silivri Mayor Bora Balcıoğlu stated regarding the earthquake, "In the initial scans conducted throughout our district using the latest technology via our Disaster and Coordination Center, no negative incidents have been identified so far. Our teams are continuing their work in the field without interruption," he said.
In a post shared on his social media account, Balcıoğlu reported that another 6.2 magnitude earthquake centered in Silivri had occurred.
Balcıoğlu noted the following:
"Through our Disaster and Coordination Center, no negative incidents have been detected so far in the initial scans conducted with state-of-the-art equipment throughout our district. Our teams' work in the field is continuing uninterrupted."
