Statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Greek Cypriot Administration

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared the following statement on social media:
"We observe that the Greek Cypriot Administration (GCA) has recently accelerated its armament activities.
We share the views expressed in the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on this matter.
We would like to remind that this misguided policy pursued by the GCA could lead to further deterioration of the stability and peace of our region and trigger an arms race on the island."
