The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has issued a statement regarding the Mecca Defense Alliance. The Ministry announced that the alliance's Strategic Political and Defense Committee met in Riyadh on October 5, 2026.
In its statement, the MSB noted that regional developments and collective defense measures were evaluated during the meeting. It was also recorded that the initial structure of the Secretariat was determined and the framework for developing defense industry cooperation was discussed.
