Statement from the US Department of Defense!

The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) stated that following the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ, Turkey has the right to hold those responsible for the attack accountable, regarding the operations Turkey launched against the PKK terrorist organization in northern Syria and Iraq.

Statement from the US Department of Defense!

Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh made assessments during the daily press briefing.

Responding to a question regarding Turkey's destruction of PKK/YPG terrorist organization targets in northern Syria and Iraq following the terrorist attack on Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), Singh replied, "As you have seen in Turkey, this looks like a terrorist attack. They have the right to hold the people who carried out this attack accountable."

On behalf of the Pentagon, Singh also conveyed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to those injured in the terrorist attack in Turkey.

TURKEY HAD CONDUCTED OPERATIONS AGAINST THE PKK

The Ministry of National Defense and the National Intelligence Organization had conducted operations against the PKK terrorist organization in northern Syria and Iraq following the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ.

It was emphasized that numerous strategic points belonging to the organization, such as energy-infrastructure buildings, logistics, and ammunition depots, were targeted in the operations, and that operations against the PKK/YPG terrorist organization would continue uninterrupted until the planned objectives were achieved.

Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler had reported that a total of 47 terrorist targets, 29 in northern Iraq and 18 in northern Syria, were struck with precision and that a large number of terrorists were neutralized.
