Statement from the Trabzon Governor's Office regarding the stoning of the CHP rally bus
The Trabzon Governor's Office announced that the statement of one individual has been taken in connection with the stoning of the Republican People's Party (CHP) rally bus.
The Governor's Office issued a statement regarding reports in some media outlets titled "Stone attack on CHP bus in Trabzon."
The statement emphasized that it was determined that while the CHP rally bus was waiting near the new bus terminal yesterday around 15:30 while conducting audio propaganda, a person threw a stone at the bus, resulting in a small crack in the door window, and noted the following:
"The individual whose statement was taken expressed that they threw the stone because they were disturbed by the loud noise coming from the bus, stating that their action had no political motive, and was subsequently released.
When the CHP Provincial Administration was asked about the matter, they stated that they were aware of the incident and that they did not file a complaint as the incident had no political aspect; no application regarding the incident has been made to date."
