Statement from Ümit Dikbayır, rumored to be joining CHP: He had left İYİ Party
It was alleged that Ümit Dikbayır, who has not joined any party since leaving the İYİ Party and has been in the spotlight as an independent MP, would join the CHP. A statement regarding these claims has come from Dikbayır.
TGRT Haber's Ankara Representative Fatih Atik claimed that Independent MP Ümit Dikbayır, who left the İYİ Party, would join the CHP in the coming days.
While the allegations became a trending topic on social media, a statement came from Dikbayır.
THE ALLEGATIONS ARE NOT TRUE
Speaking to Halk TV, Ümit Dikbayır stated that the allegations circulating about him joining the CHP are not true.
In a program he attended on Sözcü TV, Ümit Dikbayır had said the following regarding Adnan Beker, who resigned from the İYİ Party and joined the CHP: "I do not find what was done to Adnan Beker to be right. He said to me, 'Ümit, when are you coming to the CHP?' I said, 'Brother, after what was done to you, I got scared.' Politics is not done this way. Politics is the art of winning people over."
